Hard setback in first leg against ManU (0-4)
Both teams got off to an electrifying start with three chances inside the opening few minutes. The first chance of the game fell to the hosts when Januzaj’s curling effort hit the upper corner of the net. Then, Rashford’s one-on-one attempt was denied by Remiro. Later, Isak tried his luck but his effort was denied by Henderson. Again, Remiro put in a great performance as he denied Rashford’s close-range finish. The Reds opened the scoring through Bruno in the minute 27.
La Real were bright after the restart and started to approach Henderson’s area. However, Bruno doubled Manchester’s lead with 57 minutes gone. Things went from bad to worse when Rashford made it 0-3 in the 65th minute. Just before the final whistle, James made it four to sentence the game.
This result really hurts. Next Thursday, Imanol’s side will visit Old Trafford and will give their all out there but, to be honest, they need a miracle. Let’s do this! Aupa Real!
