La Real keep the winning streak going (0-2)

The winning streak continues. Today they did it again, as they beat Rayo Vallecano (0-2) in Vallecas to add their ninth consecutive victory (fifth in LaLiga). Goals from Sorloth and Barrene gave all three points to la Real, a team that never ceases to excite. Illarramendi was on the starting eleven in Vallecas and played the full 90 minutes of the game.

La Real played very well. Imanol’s side went all guns blazing and took the lead with a beautiful goal by Sorloth. The striker took advantage of a fine assist from Silva who, in another great defensive action, stole the ball to fire a superb attack. The txuri urdin managed the game well, with sobriety and firmness, and after half an hour they doubled the lead in a sensational strategy play. Brais took a corner kick, Aritz extended the ball to the near post and Barrene scored the second for the realistas. A perfect first half in which the txuri urdin were solid at the back and effective up front.

The second half started with a great action by Remiro, who stopped Lejeune's header. Rayo pressed harder, but la Real stood strong and took control of the game once again. There were practically no chances until the final minutes of the match. Our youth academy players Marín and Olasagasti (Go Zubieta!) tried their luck but to no avail.

La Real remain unrivalled and they want more. This team is amazing. Greater challenges await. Go Real!
