It has taken hard work and dedication but la Real got back to winning ways after beating Elche CF (2-0) at the Reale Arena. Two beautiful goals by Kubo and Barrene gave the Realistas a much-needed victory to get back to winning ways and regain winning feelings. Skipper Asier Illarramendi played a high-level 84-minute performance on midfield.

The txuri urdin needed an urgent victory and stepped out onto the pitch all guns blazing and with the intention of coming out victorious at the Reale Arena, something that was not happening lately. Imanol's side monopolized the possession of the ball, reaching the goal defended by Badía with relative ease and frequency. Kubo had two good chances to score in two unsuccessful shots. Sorloth, in a fine individual move, was unable to send the ball in front of the keeper.
